WHY WE CURATED IT:
The De Ville line holds a special place in Omega history. Originally a sub-collection within Seamasters, it diverged into a standalone line by 1967, offering more refinement vs the brand’s increasingly sport-oriented catalogue. Over time, it even became the platform for many Omega firsts, such as their first co-axial escapement and first anti-magnetic central tourbillon. Within dressier De Villes, here’s one that hasn’t been on our radar until now. An absolutely gorgeous, slim and elegant tonneau-shaped piece, sumptuous cream-grey vertically brushed ellipse dial and elongated roman numerals, black feuille hands, chemin de fer minute track and cabochoned crown. Perfectly adept as a daily as well. With a reliable and very serviceable manual-winding Calibre 625. Movement is serviced and warrantied.
CONDITION:
9/10, with only a sprinkling of light use. Crystal, dial, markers, hands and dial text are pristine. Original crown. New aftermarket strap and buckle.
