WHY WE CURATED IT:
Genève models are some of the best value Omegas. Initially a flagship dress line in the 50s, Genèves took a backseat in the 60s as Speedmasters/Seamasters rose to fame. But Omega kept iterating, bringing affordability to wrists without compromising mechanical quality. By the late 60s–70s, they experimented with fashionable shapes and formats, like this thin tonneau case with a TV-shaped vertically-brushed silver dial. Crazy-beautiful elegance and versatility with truly exquisite proportions on the wrist. And in case you haven’t noticed, check out the condition! If not for a couple of light hairlines and a small chip on the caseback, we would have thought this is NOS (New Old Stock)! Equipped with a respected, robust Omega Cal. 625 movement, serviced and warrantied. And the kicker… original strap and buckle, box and papers! Don’t say we didn’t tell you… this is one not to be missed! My absolute favourite from this drop.
CONDITION:
9.9/10, with barely any signs of use. Frankly shocking for a watch over half a century old. We’re pretty sure it’s untouched/unpolished/unrefinished/whatever you want to call it. Crystal, dial, hands and indices are pristine. Chamfered case edges are a mile wide! Original signed crown and crystal. Original fabric-lined strap has seen some wear, but we are including a new strap. Movement serviced and warrantied, in good health with good power reserve, excellent amplitude, moderate beat error and accurate to ±10 secs/day averaged from 6 timegrapher positions.
